The 21st century begins again with games for world domination with the help of force, which, it would seem, was inherent only in the underdeveloped society of the 20th century. IOD is the music album and at the same time a course of psychotherapy for all victims who survived shelling and bombing by the Russians. The fear of nuclear war forces Ukrainians to even stock up on iodine to survive it. Symonenko, having a subtle but energetic personality, embodies all his feelings from being in Kyiv during the war into music with the help of modulars and live improvisation with analog synthesizers. "IOD is a mini-album of a frightened man who went to look for iodine for himself and his family, because he had to partially save his health in the event of an explosion of the ZNPP by the Russians. In a couple of hours, wandering iodine was not found in any of the city's pharmacies. It was despair. But in the evening iodine was delivered. Now we have become smarter, we know how winged rockets fly, how an enemy kamikaze drone buzzes, how not to have electricity in the house for several days, and at the same time meet deadlines and prepare live performances for electronic festivals. Knowledge increased, fear decreased. Iodine is a crystal that is a symbol of resistance to nuclear terrorism - what people have lived through in our time and must live through it. For this, Russia must be disarmed and punished for the past 500 years of oppression of free neighboring nations." - Vitaly claims.

The tracks from the album have a very colorful character - from despair in the search for salvation from nuclear evil (Iod), to yesterday's movement on a forest pier (Tramvaider), from the collapse of the collision of smoky galaxies during an associative game with the family (Dixit) and then polishing backgammon with grandparents in Rusanivka district, to the most joyful moment of catharsis while watching the classic Ukrainian poetic film Babylon XX in the favorite cinema Zhovten.

“IOD це мініальбом переляканого чоловіка, який пішов шукати йод, для себе і своєї родини, бо той мав частково врятувати здоров‘я в разі підриву ЗАЕС росіянами. За пару годин блукань йоду не було знайдено в жодній з аптек міста. Це був відчай. Але ввечорі йод завезли. Зараз ми стали розумніші, знаєм, як летять крилаті рокети, як гудить ворожий дрон-камікадзе, як не мати кілька діб електричний струм в хаті, і при цьому встигати за дедлайнам і готувати лайв-виступи до електронних фестивалів. Знання побільшало, страху поменшало. Йод - це кристал, який є символом протидії ядерному тероризму- того до чого люди дожили за наших часів і мають пережити це. Для цього росію треба роззброїти і покарати за останні 500 років притискань вільних сусідніх народів.” - стверджує Віталій.
