Bezsonnia (Ukrainian, "Insomnia") is an everyday thing that has become a part of me and my loved ones during the years 2022-2023. The album cover depicts roots dancing against a background of noise, as a symbol of an inextricable bond with authenticity.

Sominaryst - electronic project of Kyiv-based musician, sound producer and DJ - Anton Somin. He combines electro and fragile breaks drum pads with samples from the Ukrainian cultural space like folk songs, hits of the 90s and even opera.

About the trax: Teren (Blackthorn) - Samples from Ukrainian folk song "Cvite teren" combined with Aphex Twin-ish glitch electronic. U poli (In the field) - The broken base and huge array of sound hooks symbolize the emotions raging in the mind of a person who radically changes his lifestyle in the conditions of martial law. Track dedicated to a close friend-DJ, who had to change the dance floor to an open Ukrainian battlefields. With all the respect to everyone who has done such a thing. Funk funk funk - The track is based on experiments with an "acidic" analog synthesizer, classic electro and a sample from the 90s hit (Jump Around) of the cult American hip-hop trio - House of pain. Ponad yarom (Over the gully) - The composition combines folk melody and bass depth + several dramatic parts that gradually bring it to an emotional peak, in order to eventually bring the listener back to the point of departure. Chas (Time) - For those who are in a hurry and enjoy nostalgia. Respect to Kuzma and the Skryabin band. Dunai - The idea for the track was born after watching the 1953 film "Cossacks in Exile" by Dovzhenko film studio.
